New York has romanced me unlike anything else...

I took this photo at Dumbo Park in Brooklyn last week on the carousel Pic and poem credits to me —

My head is a carousel of thoughts, The spinning never stops, Round and round the thinking repeats itself, It’s the same ride over again.

Up and down, round and round, The only stop is when the music shuts off, Starting back up, As the thoughts flood in, An open gate until each horse is filled with a thought, A spot for each thought and with no worries

Nobody’s left out, As the carousel of my mind never truly stops. It’s cycle repeats The thoughts getting on and off, Some skip the line.

Staying on the ride throughout the night Perhaps getting dizzy, The thought leaves for a moment, But eventually seize to start again Regardless of an entry ticket or not.
