DungeonUp's BIME(Build-in Map Editor) is almost there!
A New Gameplay Mode for your Coffee-break
Some of you may have noticed that we already released the Maze Mode last week. It's our attempt to explore for more fun from the core mechanics and we would LOVE to hear suggestion from you. If you have encountered any bug, you can also use the build-in bug report panel to help us locate the problem more efficiently.
We are also collecting names for Achievements!
Do you have any fun words in your mind that you want to use them as the name of an achievement? Then it's your show time. We have released the Achievements feature in the latest version and we want you to join us naming the achievements. Don't worry it's easy, because all you have to do is to open the Achievements panel, and click the name area of any achievement: When you have finished entering the name, it will be sent to us automatically. You don't have to enter all the names but positively the more the better! And don't forget to enter your name in the top-right corner of the panel. As a contributor of the game, your name will appear in the credits. Thanks in advance! P.S.: If you prefer the "traditional" way, you can download the template file at: http://dungeonup.com/achievements.csv and send modified file to us via email.
DungeonUp's Survey of New Features
A month ago we carried out a Survey to determine what features are most wanted from our players. So far the result turns out to be:
So, within the month, we have released standalone versions, added scoreboards feature, and now the Maze Mode is almost there. I'm glad that you guys have so much interests in the new game mode even you don't know what it looks like. Believe me, I want it be fun as much as you expect.
After the Maze Mode is done, we will start working on Achievements and Map Editor. I will remake all original levels of Tower of the Sorcerers with the Map Editor, and I hope those who voted for the feature can bring us something good as well :)
Maze Mode WIP
We are happy to announce THE BETA IS FINALLY OUT!
With all the features and updates we introduced before:
20+ new monsters, and many of them have special abilities. Be careful!
10 newly designed levels with secrets of treasures and monsters hiding behind;
More powerful weapons and items! One interesting consumable item is the "Scroll of Chaos". You can use it to re-generate monsters of a level!
Higher quality music!
We even have built a brand-new website! Go check it out:
DungeonUp.com You can now play the demo and buy the full game in the new site.
Yes, we are selling the "unfinished" version,
because we need financial support for the development. You spend the money for not only the early access, but also the future of the game. See what you can get:
Both Windows and Mac versions, auto-updating and DRM-free.
All features and contents we will add, such as scoreboards, achievements, new game modes, map editors, etc.
All levels unlocked.
...and more as shown in the website.
Also, we need your help for the community management.
Facebook? Twitter? Reddit? Yes, you can name dozens. We would like to spend more time on the social networks, but the development is always urgent to us - promises are promises. To express thankfulness to those who are willing to help us to manage Facebook fan page, moderate subreddits, or make videos of the game, we are giving out FREE copies of the full game. Please send mail to [email protected] so we can talk about details.
