#dgs2lb#orlbs#dunk on him#I do absolutely LOVE the deduction segments#both from a gameplay angle and from a characterization angle#like gameplay wise it's really fun!!!! I love examining things and it's p intuitive to figure things out based on what holmes lays out#plus all the sprites jumping and spinning is great lmao#characterization wise I actually really like how holmes is#genuinely good at figuring things out but if he gets distracted by a minor detail he spirals WAY OFF TRACK#he just needs someone to tether him#so it makes sense why the big picture hits the mark slightly to the left#and all the details go absolutely all over the place#and the conclusion is usually completely out there#and tbh I like that a lot more than the traditional Lone Genius Knows Everything Instantly All The Time dynamic#adhd icon tbh#I think all geniuses need to be a bit of an idiot to compensate. being a rude asshole does not count.
