thinking about modern family and the very valid criticism of haley dunphy’s character arc

i fully agree that the writing room neglected her and alex as the series went on, but i don’t necessarily think the ending was too bad. clare (claire?) and haley are meant to be very similar to each other and ultimately follow similar life paths, so i can fully see haley becoming a real estate icon and taking over phil’s business if there’s ever a reboot.

idk it’s an idea and it’s really the only thing i can hold onto when thinking about that girl and her ending.
