being a found father and having a male best friend are the two criteria for having your fate sealed in the jjk universe.

at the first glance, dabura’s face seemed so scary to me but looking back at it, this truly is the face of a man burdened with the job of killing his friend or losing his sister. It’s so full of anguish and hurt.

the recent chapter of jjk modulo made me cry. reminds me of the night when I stayed up all night to catch up with the then recent chapters of jjk. I remember thinking so highly of gege and how beautifully he sets his allegories up.

that was before he completely massacred jjk. It was almost like you could see his love drain out of the series.

however, gege has outdone himself yet again with modulo. the world building is so well done and well thought out that it doesn’t feel tacky for one second especially for a narrative consisting of aliens.

the politics is so blatant that even the densest of readers will have to read between the lines and it thrills me.
