: duramente and air groove are out in the garden, weeding groove's flowerbeds. while groove is entirely focused on her flowers, dura appears to be agitated about something. it almost seems like any other time that the younger uma has searched groove out to seek her advice. duramente: guru-nee... duramente: are you and teio available this saturday? air groove, without looking up: i am, i would have to check with teio, but i assume she is as well. why? dura fidgets, avoiding looking at air groove. it's not usual behavior for her, but it appears groove hasn't noticed anything amiss. duramente: i was wondering if the two of you could join me on a ... a double date. air groove: alright, i'll speak with teio and let you know what she says later. duramente: thank you. i will send you the details. dura bows and makes a hasty escape. as she runs away, groove finally looks up from her flowers, confused. air groove: wait, what? air groove: wait, who?

it's dura's first time going on a date! she seemed a bit unsure about the whole thing, so vivlos suggested she invite someone else and make it a double date, less pressure (*ゝω･*) . now that the hard part is over, will everything go smoothly?

: duramente sits on a bench right outside of a cafe. Her eyes are closed, and she shifts minutely. air groove approaches her. air groove: good morning, dura, you're here early. duramente, jumping too attention: good morning, i didn't get here much earlier. you're early, too. air groove, frowning with a slight blush: i had to beat teio here. now we're just waiting on her and ... duramente: ah, i didn't tell you who my date was, did i? air groove: no. duramente: it's-- vivlos: dura! vivlos comes running up to duramente and wraps her in a hug. duramente, blushing: good morning, vivlos. i'm glad to see you made it. vivlos: of course i did! you didn't think i was gonna stand you up on our first date, did you? even after you picked out a cute cafe for us to go to? dura's silence makes it obvious she had entertained the thought. vivlos, laughing: but dura, i asked you out! why would i do that if i didn't want to go on a date with you? duramente: ... vivlos continues to laugh as she spins them around. dura's eyes meet groove's and she lets go of vivlos. she coughs awkwardly and motions between the two of them. duramente: guru-nee, this is vivlos, my date. vivlos, this is air groove. vivlos: hi! air groove, extending a hand: good morning, vivlos. why don't the two of you go inside and get us a table. teio shouldn't take much longer. vivlos: sounds good, let's go! vivlos grabs dura's hand and starts dragging her towards the cafe doors. air groove, to herself: i can't say i would have expected-- tokai teio arrives, sneaking up behind groove to cover her eyes with her hands. tokai teio: guess who! groove is hit with the sudden realization that teio and vivlos have a number of similarities -- they are both short(er), loud, and have pony/twin tails, to name a few -- and she has to face that fact that while she was mentoring dura, she also passed down her taste in umas. air groove: ... oh. teio, not privy to groove's inner crisis, has her own crisis of not being able to provoke more of a reaction than "oh." from her girlfriend. teio, worried: ... oh? air groove, having reached the acceptance stage: oh. teio, the sadness setting in: oh.

the concept of vivlos who teaches her how to be cute and stuff and duramente dutifully taking notes on the matter and vivlos taking her on shopping dates and dura could probably pick her up off the ground and she would very much like it.
