Today it stormed like the dickens. It finally chilled out, but it was beautiful. @tex_tarcson2415 and I ate lunch in a parking lot and had the sun roof open so we could see the rain, and leaves dance in the wind. It was “romantical” as I put it. Despite the feeling of being in a tornado on 00, being in town was beautiful and calming before the rain stopped. The past few months have been anything but easy. With that said, I have been holding on to some verses during what is one of the most difficult season I’ve had to go through. Romans 8:28 is one of them.

When I’m sitting in my bedroom, I sometimes feel sad, hurt, confused, and even angry. And there are times where I want to ask God Why? Why the thing I put all of my love, effort, and time into didn’t work out. And in difficult moments where you feel God the least, it can be so easy to ask why. But when God gives us a no, there is a reason. He knows ALL things, and He knows whether the thing or person could’ve broken us. When God says no, there are three reasons why. God says no because it is either not good for us, not the right time, or He wants to give us something even better!

God is soo sooo good, and he works together for the GOOD of those who love Him. Seasons can get hard, messy, and down right ugly, but God is working diligently behind the scenes for us!

If you are going through a really hard season, just know I am with you. I know how hard it can be, but I want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus during the storm. Trust His plan for you, because in the end, He always wants what is best for you. ❤️

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.”
