So I can finally post these~ Art I did for @pmdereunion of my two old PMD-E teams, Silver Fang and Dusk Star. I really do love all these characters and all the friends I made in the group back then. I still can’t believe it’s been 10 years since the group started.
Another next gen I’m working on!
So I like the Twilight-Sunburst ship and I’ve got 3 kid ideas for them. The oldest are twins. So here’s Dusk Star (her twin brother Dawnstone is still being worked on) I think I like her overall design. I’m still toying with changing her purple to a dark blue (kind of like Shining Armor’s mane color) but I think I like her mane colors. Her cutie mark is a constellation (special talent is astronomy-based) but I’m still figuring out how to make it look right in the drawing.
I’m also still messing around with styles in general between show-like more cartoon proportions vs slightly more realism while also still just learning to draw so bear with me please xD

Dusk Star is a pillar of support with a strong work ethic. His empathy stems from past neglect, making him emotionally healthy but prone to neglecting his own needs. His bond with Twilight Sparkle contrasts with a strained relationship with his father, Flash Sentry. The conflict with his sister, Galaxy Guard, adds family dynamics. Friendships with Lightning Bolt and Firework showcase his openness and willingness to support friends. Pinkie Pie adds a unique mentorship, making Dusk's character relatable and engaging.
Dusk is among the Kindverse characters I’m most proud of tbh. Tbh when I first conceived of him (late 2015) he was pretty much a male Twilight clone with no personality, but later he developed into everything you just said and more. He was a strong character that was easy to root for, the kind of guy you’d want to sit down with in real life. I miss him.
Tbh I wish I explored his bond with “Auntie” Pinkie more, it was so sweet and the kind of support he needed as a kid
I've been working on this for a few days now, making new profile pictures for all six of my PMD team characters. Thought I'd put them all together to show the height differences between them all. I want to post this on DA but it has a couple spoilers so I don't want to post it there till the Present M8 is done at least. But hey! For the few people who follow me here you get a preview! XP
