Three facts about Pebblewhisker!
1. He’s known Fawnstar since long before CutieClan was formed. He was a young warrior when she was a kit back in their old clan and has watched her grow from tiny kit to respectable leader. Pebblewhisker was close friends with her mentor Dusknose and as such views her as a niece of sorts, so they have always been pretty close. He’s extremely proud of her and her leadership.
2. Pebblewhisker used to have a mate before Crowheart; her name was Pansyfoot. She was a pretty pale yellow molly with white paws and speckles on her face. They were apprentices at the same time, and became mates for a couple years as younger warriors into middle age before she died of sickness a few years before the fall of the old clans. They always wanted kits together, but Pansyfoot was unable to have any of her own and there weren’t any opportunities to adopt. Pebblewhisker still misses her of course, but his new life with Crowheart has been everything he’s ever wanted and he knows he found his soulmate.
3. Pebblewhisker doesn’t particularly like fighting. He isn’t afraid to fight when he needs to and will protect those he loves with his life, but prefers to settle disputes with words and compromises over claws. The position of mediator was something that was introduced from one of the other old clan groups when they got together to form CutieClan, so Pebblewhisker wasn’t entirely familiar with the concept before getting to know Inkstripe. Had this option been available to him as an apprentice he likely would have lived his life as a mediator instead.
