Ok, this is a idea I've had floating around for a while that I got the urge to draw while rewatching Secret of the Blind Eye.
I weirdly love the possible dynamic of Dracula and McGucket. It's a bit like Drac and Johnny without as much annoyance and the "father-suitor" dynamic that's a big basis for the clashing. In Drac's case...He doesn't see McGucket as harmful amd actually relates to him on alot of levels...It's just Count Control Freak has no idea what to DO with this weird somewhat feral ball of eccentricity. As for Fidds, I think he kinda is a bit scared and wary of him at first with all his past experiences, but quickly realizes "Bats" doesn't mean him any harm and is quite friendly with him.
That said, while I like the idea of McGucket recovering and getting better after the series, I don't want to pretend the damage to his mind never happened. And since McGucket is canonically IMMUNE to the memory gun and his mind is even too scrambled for BILL to decode...What if even after his memory comes back it's still a bit too scrambled for Drac to hypnotize? Fiddleford of course is weirdly helpful much like Johnny, but I think hearing this - and how CASUALLY Fidds mentions it would concern Drac a bit in a "What did you DO to yourself to scramble your mind so much even I can't get in? And HOW are you CHEERFUL about this!?" Kind of way. (Especially with him REFUSING to wipe Mavis' mind when asked. This would definitely make him think he did the right thing and hesitate ever doing it to anyone else.) Sort of like when Drac tried to hypnotize Johnny but with concern instead of disgust.
But yeah, while I think Ericka would be able to match Fidd's freak, Drac would probably find Fidds (even rather sane Fidds) mostly harmless and friendly but kinda unsettling.
Note: Yes, Fidds is supposed to be somewhat recovered here. He removed his glasses and has intermittent Exotropia. His eyes just...do that sometimes. (It IS possible the memory gun made it worse, but I headcanon it was always like that a bit. Possibly why Fidds wears glasses.)
