Everywhere I go...I see them.
Dutch blitz gets very intense O.O I just wanna play flippy floppy da cards game
Have you ever done hypnosis while playing a game with someone? Like they tranced you while playing a board game or you tranced them while playing a video game or something?
I was about to say no, but that’s because I was totally overlooking the awesome power of hypnotic Dutch Blitz! I feel like @bunbunlittleone could probably explain the actual mechanics of the game better than I, but it’s a game that requires pretty high mental acuity to track what’s happening.
Obviously this is ripe for fuckery. We primarily set it up so that if you won a round, you’d be subject to some sort of hypnotic impediment for the next round.
Anyway, a good time was had by all, and @bikinikelly was deeply hypnotized.
what's Hypno Dutch Blitz?
Ha, I didn't mean to cause this much mystery/consternation about this topic! Dutch Blitz is a card game (originally Amish I think)? kind of like Egyptian Rat Screw—you play cards into the middle, it's about going fast and getting rid of the cards in your pile.
And hypno Dutch Blitz is... whenever someone wins a round, they get a hypnotic suggestion to make the next round a little harder for them. That's the whole premise, it's pretty simple. It's what you do with it, and the people you're playing with, that make it magical! (cc @mentat101posts who was asking about this in the replies.)
Dutch Blitz
My Family:*playing a game*
My Brother:*comments that my score is positive*
Me*In a very flat/tired voice*: I'm always positive
My Mother who saw me crying 5 minutes ago over school: Is that what you would call our conversation?
Me*quotes Inside out*: 'Think positive' 'I'm positive we're going to get lost in there'
My Parents: ah okay
Anybody out there
Know that really fun card game called "Dutch Blitz?" Imagine playing that at the Crow Club but of course it's called "Kerch Blitz" and Jesper kind of sucks at it but he thinks he's really good. That would be so lit.
Last night I was playing cards with my friends, and one of them was making fun of the rest of us for having crappy eyes. Everyone wore glasses or contacts except for him. Then finally, like ten minutes later, we make some remark about him playing the red card on the wrong pile, and he says “I couldn’t tell. I’m colorblind.”
Then we went OFF on him for teasing us for forever when technically everyone at the table had messed up eyes.
It was a good time. Much laughter. I won that round of cards.
