I’m writing dx:lovesick as a gift for a friend. One they didn’t ask for, but one they got anyway. It started with the thought that maybe having a hot, gentle, caring Doctor Obi-Wan would make time in the hospital not so crappy. I took that idea and filled the fic with things to make them laugh during a hard times. With the crazy thirsty thoughts we share. With the bossy Obi-Wan they want to see, and with the love and care they deserve. And with a reminder that sometimes good things come out of bad situations. And with the hope that good things will come their way, even if they don’t see it coming yet. I reached out to this friend and offered to talk and be there for them during a hard time, not knowing how much they would end up being the one to help me. It’s a meager thanks but it’s the I have to offer.
So. It’s been silly and thirsty af but it’s also a really special story to me that I fell in love with much more than I anticipated. I’m so so glad it’s being enjoyed and loved by its readers and hope to bring it to a very satisfying conclusion soon.
