My spin on Poppy + how I imagine her first day coming back to Gardenview was like

My Poppy diverges from canon by being the mascot of an actual sucessful POP® brand. Arthur would design Poppy as a brand tie in to the toon-line up (search up MLP doll Twister if you want to see an IRL example).

You're not supposed to have advertisements directly in the contents of your show. So, maybe she only exists in animated form as a commercial, separate from the actual episodes of Gardenview. Whenever its time to advertise the POP® brand, she rolls in and shows the other toons joining her in the commercial how great the POP® sodas are.

The POP® brand wanted their own living toon of Poppy, but Arthur and Deliah knew better than to share industry secrets, so she never got her own living toon. It's only until the close of Gardenview Museum and the beginning of the Ichor Operation that Dandy created Poppy as a beginning toon. As such, most of her memories are just from commercials, and it also explains why she's always peppy (because it's commerical standard to always smile) even if she's not actually happy.

Her first day in the Ichor Operation doesn't help much either.

Fuck you *snaps my fingers and redesigns the Startime Skin Pack*

Listen we all know how low key ass the Startime Pack is, it has NOT held up over time and it can't decide if it's space, pyjamas or some strange mix of both, So I decided to redesign the pack for fun

I wanna give Bobette, Bassie and Gourdy a Startime skin too but that's for later, I need to post art/silly

Also new stamp for all Dandy's World art going forward, I don't wish to talk about this situation and I'm sure others are tired of it by now, so please keep all discussions of it out of this post and any other art posts. Thank you.

finally caved and tried this game and Unfortunately for my hater ass its really fun </3 i still don't like many of the designs/style though so ive just been drawing them myself
