vibes-wise i think she leans a little more silly than serious. generally cinder is pretty chill. won't have a problem with someone unless they do something to provoke her. sassy, kinda overly blunt, but also ride-or-die for the people she cares about. #diva

your headcanon of cinder being similar to a gacha bully is nooooooottt entirely off the mark LMAO. back in her royale high days they never actually bullied anyone, but they were popular, rebellious, and one of those people who are just super good at academics with very little effort -> her ego grew 3 sizes. she was cool and she knew it.

cinder's arrogance caused some tensions between her and a friend that ruined their relationship and made them enemies, both of them basically scheming to ruin the other for most of their high school years. lps popular type shit.

it eventually got SO out of hand that she did something that caused both friend's downfall... and the school's 😭(which to their credit wasn't entirely wrong because rh was shady asf, but i can yap about my worldbuilding another time).

present-day cinder is just trying to get through university, hence the barista side-hustle in the AYS verse. she never talks about the incident because she doesn't think she'd be believed, and it could have huge consequences if anyone knew it was her doing. they have in fact mostly grown since in regards to their cockiness, though she still likes screwing with people she doesn't like a little too much (COUGH itrapped.. those 2 would clash so bad)

cinder could literally save themself the trouble with the yanderes if they just locked tf in but she dOESN'T. AUGH. she's super perceptive and generally will notice weird vibes. could clock characters like shed, yes... buuuut then there's chance. i do think she'd actually like them (my heart could not handle them being used by yet ANOTHER person, sob). problem is she willfully turns a blind eye because of that, thinking she would've known if something was fishy. her thought process is basically:

"wait, why's he already talking about meeting his parents? i should--"

"okay but who else would treat you like this???" (shed is frantically waving his hands in the background. cinder doesn't see him.)

"oooohhhhh..."

"yeah bitch that's what i Thought 🫵 sit back down and let yourself have this 😌"

That's exactly what a former bully would say… lol its okay Idio used to be one too… I was actually talking to narne about idios past a few days ago and I think he was a real peice of work but it's okay the guilt eats away at him enough to make him a bit agoraphobic at times, but I force him into situations anyway for my own entertainment! Idio the kinda guy to convince someone to walk into a room with a bucket of water on the top of the door and then act like he’s never met them before when they get mad at him (he can’t keep getting away with this…)

Speaking of royal high I actually think idios best friend Kitty used to go to royal high but she had to drop out (idio being a bad influence) idio didn't go to royal high tho he was just an underachiever who'd skip school just to go to his friends school to sneak into her classes (is he stupid? Why are you leaving one school to go to another… redundant…)

They are very dysfunctional found family 2 me but during ays they’re separated because 1. Kitty is wanted by admins and 2. Idio is basically in witness protection for being a narc which is objectively his biggest crime in my book.

I'm pretty sure idio is way older than cinder tho so I don't think they'd have bumped into each other cuz he's like 25-26 to me

That’s so silly cinder loooves letting shit slide if it benefits her 🥹 to me Idio has this habit of waving off compliments since he’s so guilty about his past while simultaneously being like: “oh, someone feel in love with me that fast? That’s perfectly reasonable happens all the time this is meaningless.” He’s so spoiled 😔
