Clockwork, before becoming a killer was a reserved, quiet person who coasted through life while dissociating to cope with home life. She bottled everything, lived through it and told herself she wouldn't ever hurt or kill herself, that she would survive but she honestly had no what exactly she was living for. Sure, all the abuse abruptly stopped around age 13 but she still couldn't find ways to be happy. In her young naivety , she even tried rebuilding the relationships she lost but all she was met with was harsh words which hurt similarly to the physical abuse she endured so; she stopped. She quit trying at anything; she didn't work on assignments, eat or sleep. It was almost like she was already dead on the inside and worst of all, nobody cared. However, time moved on and on much to her displeasure and annoyance...
Eventually, exhausted with being ignored or abused when she tried her hardest to be sweet and kind, she snapped and became the girl we all know today; the infamous serial killer Clockwork who rules over time, who took back her pain and expelled it onto others, she decides their fates, when their lives end and when their time is up.
Sometimes, on rare nights, Clockwork will feel Natalie Ouellette's words, feelings and worst of all, her pain seep into her new bones. Natalie lived on inside of Clockwork and she hated it, she wanted to deny Natalie, remove her and end her time once and for all but she just couldn't find a way. It was wrecking her. She was supposed to be new, a new person who replaced and denied Natalie. Natalie was DEAD or at least, she should've been...
