My girlfriend is an ANGEL! Like, a real actual ANGEL. I don’t know how many times I’ve already acknowledge this! She got me this GORGEOUS, SOUGHT OUT, RARE, GRAIL Minnie Mouse Ballerina Dance Studio Pin! (Released on February 2002 in Disneyland.)

I saw this pin a long time ago, in an Instagram post...I usually don’t like/collect Minnie. The only Minnie Mouse I adore (And not just “like”, but either I don’t like her...or I...“FULL OUT ADORE” her!) is her in her pink Medieval dress from The Brave Little Tailor cartoon and this one.

This beautifully pink detailed ballerina Minnie with her ribbon wand is a very special design to me. It reminds me of my childhood, it brings back my nostalgia, and it just makes me think of happy days were everything was pink, happy, magical, dreamy, and "worries” didn’t exist. It’s a pastel dreamy mind palace space. XD

Last night, one of our friends found this amazing pin store in Florida and sent me a link. We made it a mission to go this morning and have a look at it.  Thus, in the midst of finding really cool Hidden Mickey Stitchs and Nightmare Before Christmas pins, my girl pointed out hidden behind a display window...THIS...Minnie Grail pin!  I was thrilled when she bought it for me. I'm so happy! I love her so much and she’s such a wonderful human being and, AGH, I love you, baby! You’re amazing!

What-A-Haul Sunday: 

Early in the day we stopped by my favorite mall and all of it’s awesome stores involving Funko Pops and anime figurines! We tried a new macaron store in the mall, they were delicious!, and so well themed. As well, as I ogled at the Hot Topic selection of clothes. (I.Will.Have.You! *shakes fist*) Later in the day, we rode Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, God, it’s so thrilling! 

We traded some pins, got our first CHASE pin (So exciting!) and then carried all of our treasures back home!

It was a “treat-yo-self” kinda day!

Goodies from Hot Topic! 

(Man, gotta love those hot cashes!)

- The most metal shirt that I own is actually an Aggretsuko shirt. (”Underneath this Smile, I’m metal ‘til I DIE!”) I love the show, it’s so relatable. 

- The girlfriend got the most colorful shirt she owns and it’s a Rock and Morty shirt! Lol.

- I love Lisa Frank and I love Aliens, so why not both? Definitely taking inspiration from the displays in the store, they had these two together and I loved how they looked!

- Pusheen here, Pusheen there, PUSHEEN EVERYWHERE! (Just like the Funko Pops!)

“Toys R’ Us is disappearing...” - Dan Bell

These are shots of one of our last trips to the huge toy store. It’s funny, because, we had seen that RC weeks before, but the price was still too high to be worth purchasing. A few weeks later, we went again, and looked...and looked...AND LOOKED for the car and we couldn’t find it! It wasn’t until we were getting ready to leave that I spotted it at the very back of some other remote control cars! BOOYAH! (It’s not the green one we originally wanted, but red will do! Especially at a discount price.) 

We also found a hamster that looks like my GF and some really cute doll clothes!

As a kid, Toys R’ Us was a mesmerizing experience.  You would go there for your Care Bears, your Littlest Petshop, your Barbies, and Power Rangers.

My aunt and grandma would take me there occasionally. I remember getting into the Geoffrey The Giraffe coin truck. I would “hide” My Littlest Petshop toys (the OG 90s ones) behind other toys to come back for them some other time. I remember my dad taking me after I had gotten blood taken and was a small child freaking out. (I got a miniature My Little Pony and a Slinkie!) Then another time I was freaking out because my mom didn’t want to get me the most beautiful pink biggest Skydancer ever! (LOL. Such a brat.) In Puerto Rico, they used to do Pokemon Trading Card Saturdays, were kids would meet up and just trade cards, play the game.  I was given a few cool cards by some very generous older kids, I remember the gigantic Barbie aisle that had all of the clothes, all of the dolls, the collectors ones and the regular ones, it was such a huge and long aisle from my childlike eyes. I would watch the “Super Toy Run” commercials and day dream of that happening to me...!

As an adult, I remember visiting Toys R’ Us with my girlfriend. It would be our go-to place to detox after a long work week. We'd spend the afternoons there, looking at the cutesy toys, the Funkos, the RCs, it was nice. I don’t know where I’ll go now when I’m bored, when I want to forget about the world for a little while, nor if there’ll ever be something like it, but there’s definitely one thing that I know...

I will always be a Toys R’ Us kid.

In the hidden tunnels of Hot Topic, after being flirted on by the guy at the register, we found...a long coveted Funko Pop: Captain Marvel vs Chun-Li(Player 2) Pack! I had been searching for this clothing variation for the longest time and was thrilled and happily surprised to find it! I am tempted to buy the other pack and switch the Chun-Lis out, because I like the clothes on the other version more. It’s just that...THAT CAPTAIN MARVEL looks sick in those white pants!

We had our first try at a Gashapon in ThinkGeek - They had a Legend of Zelda Gashapon and we got the one we wanted! Cute, angry, hooded Link! (HYAH!)

Then we went to an anime store in the mall and saw that...they...sold...TINY PUSHEEN WITH THE BAG O’ CHIPS! Love spoils me so! I’ve been wanting him forever, but I could only find the bigger versions. (I would usually go to Books-A-Million and just fondle, and I mean FONDLE, the bag of the big version.) We saw this cute little guy in there and she got it for me! I’m so lucky.

Epcot International Festival of the Arts!

This year we attended the International Festival of the Arts at Epcot. There were a lot of great artists, vendors, and food! 

We also pin traded. 

We got our purple macaroon that we wanted and the finishing set for our Bambi and Tramp tsum tsum pins! Oh, I don’t think I’ve mentioned it, but we’ve gotten into pin trading.
