Finally queued a few things that have been in my drafts for like. Half a year. Might go through my likes and add some more... it’s been ages since I’ve been active on this blog OTL
Ender Chest, Grass, Wood Planks, and Dye because it fits your blog! @trans-copper-ingot
Ender Chest: have you defeated the Ender dragon?
At least once? @bambooblock n I fought the Ender dragon on one of our private servers together. Other than that… I think I once fell into the end on accident when fiddling around in creative and I probably flew at the dragon so I could get out of the end without dying. I’m not sure if I have other times though bc I have memory issues and bc I took a year and a half or so hiatus from Minecraft and I can’t recall what I did before then!
Grass: do you like exploring?
I love exploring! Finding new structures and biomes and materials is so nice. I also especially like finding loot chests bc I get excited over seeing the rng go and pick out loot. I might be more excited over that than actually getting the treasure actually… but yeah I love going out and finding new things!
Wood planks: what style of architecture do you build in?
I’m inconsistent as hell! And don’t know a whole lotta architectural terms?
1. One house I’ve built I’ve liked was kiiinda Victorian? I’m not 100% sure
2. A weird halfway point between modern and cottage is probably my default but I like to try new styles!
3. I wanna build a city that inspired by Cinque Terre too so I’m trying to implement more color into my builds!
But tldr: Victorian, modern, cottage, colorful, bricks, and fun shapes (circular buildings, dormers on roofs, loads of balconies, etc) are p much what I like to do!
Rose bush: do you dye things a lot?
I love using concrete n terracotta, so yes! And before those were added I lived off of wool. Banners are fun to make pride flags with, and tho I don’t dye glass a whole lot, I do like using it in moderation as well (and mizunos makes it lose its color for shapes which makes it less distracting for sure, but a lot harder to use it to draw attention to things) I usually have a chest just for dye in my storage room bc I like to always have a lot (sometimes I keep ingredients in there too, but recently I’ve been overflowing on one server because of a project!)
Hot take: acacia and diorite? Good blocks.
Some blocks only look nice in certain contexts and that’s okay.
Acacia wood looks good if used in mesas, savanas, and desert areas!
Polished diorite is pretty cute if you want a muted color pallet build with a kitchen floor.
Color pallets are important! Acacia isn’t going to look good in builds that won’t work with the color orange!
Diorite is something that’s not super easy to work with but when you get it right, it comes out pretty nicely! I’ve seen it used to make mines look nicer and I love it! The noise is a bit much but if you can figure it out it can look nice!
Try using acacia in hotter biomes and diorite in colder biomes. The temperature of the biome makes a difference in how well blocks look!
