also crazy that the bangel v spuffy wedding/marriage stuff is one time buffy had a dream fantasy of marrying angel and the other is buffy planned a whole curse wedding with spike and i lowkey prefer the latter because the beauty of the fake spuffy wedding is it's so equal it's so both of them outside of the curse while the bangel fantasy wedding is very classical, very tv/movie but ultimately it only reflects their desires to live normal lives while spike and buffy's hypothetical wedding includes adjustments for spike as a vampire, discussions of spike's human name vs nickname on invitations, potentially a song buffy actually loves, buffy's getting to put stuff she wants in the wedding, offering to put red paint on the fucking cake topper??? that's kinda beautiful lol

i know why we couldnt see more spike and buffy dreams when they dreamt of each other but like theres no way they don't dream about each other at least once a week. i do think they dream abt dru and angel a lot but i think they dream of each other more than they'd admit. especially buffy. if you told me that spike dreamt about buffy every night since season whatever id one million percent believe you. and obviously they wouldn't show us this but i think buffy dreams about spike post something blue in season 4. it pisses her off but it happens.

and when buffy asks if hes real in lessons? oh my god how many fucking times did buffy dream about spike after seeing red??? holy shit. but generally i think i wouldve enjoyed more buffy based spike dreams, even though we got a pretty good sense of his fantasies.

serves you right chapters 3 & 4 are up now and the significance of me posting this is lmao my body and brain are so strange i drank like two to the rim glasses of wine and two diet vodka lemonades but because i had also so much caffeine in my system i became a new drunk called productive drunk where i planned to only finish chapter 3 but then when it started to get around the 5k mark i split it up and it sort of worked because i stayed up all night and wrote like 7k words and they were drunk for most of it even though of course it doesn't make sense but essentially i was just projecting my energy onto them. should i tag "i was drunk when i wrote this" if it's only for two chapters do you think i need to disclose that. i sort of remember what happens..........so maybe you should check it out
