March Meet The Maker Day 17 Catch-up: Creative space This is the steaming area of my dye studio. I do my best to creatively maximize the functionality of my small space. You can see my bain-marie which I use for immersion dyeing and one of the turkey roasters I use for steaming hand painted items. My beloved spin dryer can be seen poking out from under the table. The metal rack holds all my dye stocks, chemicals, PPE and smallwares I use in dyeing. I have a smaller rack by my big dye table across the room that holds all my dye powders. The door that the steam table blocks leads to the unfinished basement.
