2.    I’d love tosee more character redesigns! I’ve seen some amazing ones before and I loveseeing people’s design styles and what they prefer when designing!

3.    Just DRmemes in general. Haven’t seen that many for a while and I’m sad. Might also beof course that I’m just not following enough content creators like that.

An au were DR charactersare humanized stars, nebulas, etc. except Kaito who is an astronomer, lookingat them dancing in the sky and wishing he could join.

T - Do you have any hardand fast headcanons that you will die defending, about anything at all (genderidentity, sexual or romantic orientation, extended family, sexual preferenceslike top/bottom/switch, relationship with poetry, seriously anything)

Not really, I’m verychill about those. I can’t really think of anything I would fight tooth andnail for. Character headcanons are a very personal thing and I respect that everyone has their own depiction of a character that makes them happy.

But I do still think Kaito watches soap operas with his grandma!I love that idea!

ok i literally owe u my life for sending this ... (also this’ll b hpa au because yall know i love that domestic happy shit) 3 - Are they open about their relationship? How do they feel about public displays of affection?yes bitch they are THAT couple. you know the one. u turn away for one second & they’re like cats crawling over each other. ouma crawls into momotas clothes while he’s still wearing them. momota crosses his legs over on top of ouma at any given opportunity. they love pda & turn it into a competition over who can be the most sick nasty in love 5 - Nicknames? Pet names? Any in-jokes?oho.. obviously there’s going to b stuff like kai-chan or kichi, but i feel like ouma has the innate ability to turn momotas catchphrases into terrible awful pet names. “my luminary” or “space cadet” would be the ones that momota would go apeshit embarrassed over. & on the other side, momota could call ouma his loveable rat & ouma would be like “oh shit... oh fuck he really loves me!!!!!” as for in-jokes, “robbing harumaki’s convenience store” & “shumai versus harumaki who wins” would be obvious picks 6 - Any tasks that are always left to one person?momota has to wash dishes All Of The Damn Time. ouma cleaning entails a lot of broken items 8 - What do they like best about their partner?i do think that ouma really admires momotas ability to trust people & his communication skills, while momota probably likes oumas confidence & the way he can speak his mind. they’re self loving & self confident fellows. but if we’re talking physical traits? it’s got to be momotas goatee & oumas hands. the ugly goatee becomes something endearing & oumas hands are the perfect size for holding :-) 23 - How do they hug? Kiss? Tease? Flirt? Comfort?everything is so fucking dramatic with them! u know it! they want to hug? suddenly they are separated tragic lovers from a black and white movie seeing each other again after the war. they wanna kiss? it’s either their first kiss all over again or their last. teasing & flirting are combined into one disaster of an event bc every time there’s teasing, flirting isn’t far away. comfort would be their less dramatic part i think. i get the feeling that their ways of comforting one another are quiet gestures that mean more than someone looking in from the outside would think25 - How much time do they spend together? Do they share their feelings, or hold things in?well ill be honest with you: in a hpa au ouma wouldn’t have very many friends. in ANY au he wouldn’t have many friends. & when momota lets that click he would try to spend more and more time with ouma, try to integrate him into his friend group, try to let him feel welcome & loved. but both of them operate more through actions than words because of their pride, so meanings would be lost & feelings would be held back until they fight so hard it all falls apart. they would make up every time but communication would be a weak spot for them :((28 - What are their vacations like?oh god it’s so bad!!!!! they split away from the class during a field trip and they do hundreds of dollars worth of damage. they visit gift shops & cafes & everything there is to see bc they are both so dumb and bad with money. it’s hell for everyone involved EXCEPT for them29 - How do they handle disasters or emergencies? Minor injuries? Sickness?they are so bad at handling personal emergencies. ouma “fell down a story & got a severe concussion” kokichi & momota “it’s just a cold” kaito do not make a good self care couple. but when it comes to each other they’d probably end up freaking out TOO much. like, ouma gets food poisoning & momota drives him to the hospital immediately after he pukes once. momota sprains his ankle & ouma carries him back to the dorms (at the cost of his back) 31 - Do they finish each other’s sentences? Pick up any phrases or habits from each other? Know when the other is hiding something?finishing each other’s sentences is an event. ouma can do it perfectly, momota... not so much. & picking up phrases n habits from each other, one day momota says “but that’s a lie, isn’t it?” and everyone in the vicinity goes apeshit. ouma replies to a question by saying “you’ve gotta make the impossible possible, duh!” as a joke, but the fact he even says it means he’s already gotten too attached. as for knowing when the other is hiding something: absolutely. they’re both communication specialists & they both can pick up on subtle changes. any shift in behavior is obvious to them34 - Do they have any pets?there’s two different options for this that ive got! ouma has a cat named strychnine while momota has a dog named nova, or momotas got a cat named milky while oumas rottweiler is named naruto. short answer to the question is Yea they do :)39 - Who initiated the relationship? Who kissed who first? When did they realize they were in love?momota probably both initiated the relationship & kissed ouma first. he may be dumb as a bag of rocks, but he’s not a procrastinator! most likely, the were fighting & ouma was saying some Dumbass Shit & momota threw in the towel. they realized they were in love five months into the relationship after something really stupid (like ouma spilling coffee all over himself and laughing about it, or momota holding the door open for a dog or smthn). it suddenly became a real “i wouldn’t mind spending my life with this asshole” sort of thing42 - Do they let each other get away with things that would normally bother them?major things? never. but the minor things start to slip by. ouma telling a lie & momota playing along becomes more common. momota giving a friendship speech & ouma chiming in with agreements turns into a fact of life. they learn to live and let live45 - Any special dreams or goals they have as a couple? Any heartbreaks? Regrets?momota wants to take ouma to space, ouma wants momota to join dice. their dreams range between big and small! the heartbreaks are from their breakups and big fights, and the regrets are from awful choice words that were said in those fights. overall i think their happy moments outweigh their sad ones , but there are gonna be those certain moments either way that should be all of them! thank u so much for the ask, this was a lot of fun!!!!!

Kaito frowned at the dictionary, feeling even more confused than ever as he replayed his conversation with Shuuichi the other day, after Kaito ranted for minutes on end about Kokichi running away with his goddamn notes in tow. University was stressful enough as it is: he didn’t need a gremlin to mess with his life. Especially recently that he had been feeling under the weather.

“Don’t you think Ouma-kun might just be trying to get your attention? I think he’s worried about you.” 

“Worried? That’s stupid! Why would he?” 

“I don’t know… it just seemed like his eyes look so tender when he looks at you, recently.” 

Kaito huffed as he leaned against the library shelf. Something threatened to crawl up his throat, but he managed to cover his mouth quickly enough to stifle it. 

Red dripped down the side of his lips. 

Shit.

The sound of the book slamming shut was not unlike a coffin’s.

I feel like oumota works best in game when they're not like in Love but instead have that moment of mutual respect and understanding between them in chapter five anyways. It's very hard to picture Kokichi having an unguarded relationship with anyone during the killing game, let alone with Kaito, but that doesn't mean they aren't extremely interested in one another and are irrefutably connected even while they're opposing one another. (Sorry for rambling lol)

You are right! I don’t mind usually if it’s romantic or not as long as it’s a strong, meaningful relationship.

I’m from a culture where showing love isn’t very apparent anyway so I love pairings that are less lovey-dovey and more this sort of rustic love... Where it’s more hidden but still meaningful. Where the words “I love you” are hidden in mundane gestures and code words like “ I respect who you are” and “you aren’t boring”. To me personally, there is something very vulnerable and sweet in small details.

But also I got mad respect for people who can make traditional romance writing work for these two. That sounds like a really hard feat! :000
