The stalking greys Smad Place, ridden by Wayne Hutchinson (red/grey silks), finished second and Dynaste with Tom Scudamore on board (red/yellow sils) third. The Giant Bolster and Tom Cannon finished fourth, Black Thunder and Sam Twiston-Davies fifth, Theatre Guide and Daryl Jacob sixth.

Silviniaco Conti and Noel Fehily won the Betfair Chase (registered as the Lancashire Chase) at Haydock today, 22 November 2014 - Conti's second win in that race.
Menorah, ridden by Richard Johnson, ran a gallant second, Dynaste and Tom Scudamore third, Cue Card and Daryl Jacob fourth, The Giant Bolster and Tom Cannon fifth, Medermit and Denis O'Regan sixth. Harry Topper, Taquin Du Seuil and Double Ross were pulled up during the race.
