Reading when you're dyslexic be like
when you wanna make a post on main but the dyslexia hits like a train, so the words ain’t wording :(
“what time is it?”
*looks at non-digital clock*
“i’m afraid i’m useless in this situation”
the fact that you have to pay for accessibility is so friggin dumb. like PULEEASEEE apple you pieces of shit why isn’t there an option to turn on a dyslexie font. i shouldn’t have to pay for and download an app that only makes some things accessible.
You are more than enough.
Never forget that.
bold of you to assume that I can sort out what is cannon and what is my own maladaptive daydreaming.
I sometimes think back to the English teacher who always called me stupid in front of the class.
This was before I knew I had dyslexia and ADHD. It hurt so much at the time and I felt so much shame. But I learned to recognize other people like her as I got older.
The ones that think there is only one path to life and success.
The ones that believe that only one person can be the smartest in the room. (And many times will put others down in order to be that person.)
The ones that are so narrow-minded that they miss some of life’s best experiences and opportunities by not connecting with others who are different.
I feel sorry for her that she chose to lead such a miserable life. That regardless of what happened to her, she chose to insult kids to tears to make herself feel better.
My husband and I are both dyslexic. He just told our son, “Hi say to the bear!” Took us both a bit to realize he had flipped two words.
I got you, babe. ❤️
