The way e!Pearl talks about/to Xornoth reminds me SO MUCH of how q!Jaiden talks about/to Cucurucho😭

The way e!Pearl goes ”Awww he’s so cute!!” whenever Xornoth appears while everyone else freaks out.

The way whenever Cucurucho appears everyone gets agitated and uneasy, but q!Jaiden is just chill and gives him tea and calls him a ”cute silly guy”.

But, a big difference is that e!Pearl wanted to fight and get rid of Xornoth, while q!Jaiden cared about Cucurucho and didn’t want him to get hurt

okay, i may be the only person to think this, i know sl!scar's new skin reminds people of sausage, but jesus the art reminds me of e!pearlo so much so that i have to check the tags when i see the art right now. sunflowers are so engrained in my head as e!pearl's.

I’ve completed dolls for all of s1! While I don’t plan on doing any for s2 (I don’t think I can top the wonderful job done here: https://at.tumblr.com/selenealwayscries/693845965138952192/kf2xb97vtuzz), I really love making these, so I’ll probably end up making more for character costume changes such as the wolf spirit, Elsa Scott, cod boy, xornoth, etc

imagine if hermit! Pearl could hear plants. Like she can’t understand what they say but she can hear the buzz and hum of their conversation, and she just assumes this is a thing everyone can do. She’s just talking to the rest of soup group about how eerie it is to live with alien plants sometimes because their buzz sounds strange compared to the ones she’s used to and they’re just. confused. they assumed she was the sole human of the group but now they’re doubting it.

She thinks it’s tinnitus for years (because why would she be able to hear a plant that’s absurd) until the whole rift shenanigans happen and now she’s got her memories back and she Knows What They Say and What They’ve Seen because she was connected to them because they were one and her grasp on the language of plants are slipping sure but if she focuses she can hear them sing to her and tell her their fears and worries.

Imagine Pearl humming to a sunflower, trying to soothe it as she cuts off infection. Imagine Pearl leaning back against Gem’s giant Cherry Blossom, describing its song to Gem. Imagine Pearl listening for when plants are perfectly ripe because they tell her, because why wouldn’t they tell her, she’s the Lady of the Harvest.

Just. Pearl casually still being the Farmer Queen, to an extent.
