Currently Reinstalling Sims 3 with Disc Version, Just Waiting for Remaining Discs to Arrive
Recently, I posted several workarounds to the problem Create a World Sims 3 worldbuilders are having with EA Desktop. They all seem to be working, but I decided last week to go with option #2, which is to go back to version 1.67 of Sims 3. This meant chasing down hard copies of the game and reinstalling and running the disc version.
So far, I've reinstalled everything except Ambitions, Showtime and Island Paradise. The Ambitions disc I bought off eBay is giving me trouble and the last two discs are slowly crawling their way to me by way of snail mail. Until I get and install these guys, I can't finish up the playtesting of Pottersville.
It's so frustrating and strange how many obstacles have been thrown my way in trying to complete this latest world of mine, Pottersville, which has been in development hell for two years now. What is going on? Is it a sign or something? Let me finish this world, God dammit!!! I'm feeling more abused than when Charlie Brown kept getting the football yanked out from under him.
