putting myself in their shoes
so I tried to put myself in the shoes of the creator who signed up for the sims4 creator marketplace.
What would make them joint?
I'm free from antipaywallers
I'm safe from other players stealing mine cc on Patreon ( kemono ,simfileshare,lurkers patreon's etc)
Even if I don't make alot ,more peoples will keep paying and I can take a break when ever I want without losing money
I won't deal with simmers asking for a refund
Even if my audience boycott me ,new generation will keep coming and buy mine cc
Even if the company earn more than me , I'm still earn something
I can't pay mine bills aside from my 9am to 6pm job and peoples on the internet will never understand their struggles
EA is very smart , they calculated everything
Now you all understand why a lot of your favorite creators are there ,it sad but is the harsh reality .
All the pay walling drama ,the boycot of creator ,the cc leaked ,the bullying ,that what would push a cc creator to joint those sickos
Even if it means earning lesser than half their hard work and the interesting and terrifying part is that the creator know it ...
Note: EA is not their savior but they clearly tried to look like the good guys ,to me ,EA and antipaywallers(who leak and harass will be the demise of creators in general)
I'm just calling out both parties as insensitive, one is greedy for money and the other is just as greedy for control over people's artistic freedom
(still hope for the marketplace to flop lol 😂)
