After playing some of the older and new NHL EA games I have noticed something. Why did EA remove the auto assign training feature in the last few NHL games? What I mean by this is that in the latest games you have to assign the training hours your be a pro player has but in the older games you could just have the ai assign it to the areas that you need it for. I liked the auto assign better because I sometimes I overthink where I should be using my training hours.

Update on my EA NHL 16 be a pro player. My character is a right winger and I am trying to get better at playmaking and setting up plays for my AI teammates.

Well I finally made it out of the AHL after having to spend a season there learning the controls of the game because I was so terrible I got sent down.

I was given a one year contract with the Nashville Predators after being released from the Milwaukee Admirals to see if I could make it.

So far I have played 18 games and won each one so far. I have 54 goals 31 assists and a +88, needless to say I am doing a lot better and I hope to continue my winning streak!

James Neal has 34 goals and I swear Filip Forsberg has been on the ice every time I have made a goal, most of my assists are on his goals. Also Thank goodness Pekka Rinne is a 92 overall because his saves have kept us in the game sometimes 😅

A while back I decided to simulate a season on my be a pro goalie in NHL 23 where I got drafted to the Avalanche just to see what might happen.

Why are there more prompts to talk to your teammates when you simulate?! I swear every two days I had an interaction with Cale Makar like how many times do you want to get coffee?? and make my player pay for it?? Not counting shopping, go to the park, bowling, going to see a musical, and more I should have counted the prompts, oh my gosh there were so many.

When I left the Avalanche I was offered a contract by the Rangers. Well my first thought was, oh thank goodness it’s not going to be like Colorado…. well this time it wasn’t Makar but Adam Fox decided every other day he wanted 80 dollar coffee that I had to pay for and he had just as many prompts as Makar. I still hadn’t won a Stanley Cup.

Then I sign with Dallas once my contract with the Rangers was up and guess who shows up on the roster? Makar AND Fox also Fox was made the captain of the Stars. Fox continued to make me pay for his coffee (the joke I had with my sibling was that he was importing the expensive coffee to Dallas from New York).

I finally won the Stanley Cup with the Stars and two former teammates (it’s so hard to get a cup as a goalie because you have to rely on the AI to be good in order to score and the team I could never get past in the playoffs was the Coyotes because after a few seasons they had X factor AI players that were INSANE).

NHL be a pro is so sims coded. And I love it because I suck at both games.

TIL that Sidney Crosby has never been on the cover of the NHL video game because he has always declined the offer!

Any idea if it would be possible to extract a 3D model from a game (say an NHL game) and convert the model for the sims 2?

Can EA NHL just put in an option to blacklist certain teams or players from appearing in trade negotiations? For the last fucking time, New Jersey, NO I don’t want Zubrus and Jagr, and definitely not for 3 prospects. Go away.
