Interesting trade idea floating around: San Jose gives up our #2 and #20 1st round draft picks, in exchange for Adam Fox from the NY Rangers and their #5 pick (plus potentially one of our prospects).
Fox is an elite Norris-winning RH defenseman who had 53 points last season (9 goals, 44 assists) on a truly terrible team. He's 28 years old, 5' 11". He'd be a top-pair defenseman who could also quarterback PP1. Basically everything we need right now. Plus, we'd still get the #5 pick AND get to keep Eky.
Only downside I can see is giving up Stenberg, who I've preemptively become attached to. What do you think?
Do we make this trade?
Absolutely!
No way
