As someone who works in the petcare industry the general rule of thumb is 1 gallon per square inch of fish, unless it's a goldfish than the number increase from 1:1 to 5:1 because goldfish are filthy and need more water to dilute the ammonia they make so they can still breath. Being that the container is at most a liter, the fish is in 1/4 the size container it should be provided it's only 1 square inch. Just stopping by to spread some fish knowledge cause I saw the confusion on the post!
