I tried to make Maddie Hatter's dress today out of scraps from our fabric room! I really love how it turned out! Most of the fabric is stretch fabric so it fits my model perfect, but it's a bit big on the dress form haha. I'm proud of this one day project! I've always wanted to make a Ever After High dress!
Since Quarantine has been going on, I’ve been doing some self shooting! It’s been forever since I’ve posted cosplay here, I hope to starting doing that again!
Let’s start with Kitty Cheshire from Ever After High! The lightup flower crown is one of my favorite accessories I’ve ever made
Still need to add the sleeves, but im super happy with how the dress is turning out. Theres so much poof thanks to my hips and my fabric choices. The shiny white layer is brocade and it has a lot of structure to it. Then the two light organza layers just fill it in.
I’m glad i remembered to put in pockets 😩 They’re deep enough to carry my phone and wallet and made out of the broade which made them strong enough to not really stress at holding something heavy. Plus the blue layer hides them for an anti theft bonus 😀
I will need to switch out the elastic bands on my wings for clear ones, the white kinda stick out if my hair doesn’t perfectly cover them…
Ummmm some more Duchess lmao - I had a hard time taking photos bc I was doing them all myself but I got a couple of good shots! Lots of people recognized Duchess which was a fun surprise. (Also yes the dress bunches weirdly in the waist - I had to convert it to a lace up back bc I broke it and I've yet to discover how to solve that issue.)

Check out the dress I snagged for my Briar cosplay. Kinda obsessed with it. I gotta figure out how TF I'm gonna do her shoulder pad things though. My first thought was floral foam and some fake roses. I guess we'll see 💖
