i was hoping to get this out on the 1st but i was a little busy there will unfortunately be more to come O_O as much as i hate him, he does have a lot of depth as a character. (as my eye twitches)

Au where sparrow saw the darkness betore it attacked aurora, and it drove them mad, so to avoid a scandal they got thrown in the keep and albion held a funeral for them with a fake cause of death. And the kids never found out until they find them at the keep, and recognise what they're babbling about

Its four in the morning, I am nore than a bit delusional, but I am loosing my mind over the idea of after helping Giles find his son a boyfriend, it spreading around that Sparrow is a good matchmaker(they are not, they picked the first man that thought Rupert was okay looking) and dozens of people start harrassing them to help find partners for their unmarried children

Sparrow being so loved and enmeshed in the bower lake camps community to Logan and HOBW having no relationship to them is hurting me physically.

Because I can just see Sparrow bringing Logan there whenever they can, reminsing him, he's a prince by birth, a hero by blood, and a dweller by heart. Him becoming loved by the community just the same, playing with the other children, it being the only place he hasn't the weight of his future holding him down, its where he gets the love of traveling, hearing their stories as well as his parents.

But then Sparrow dies.

And Logan is forced onto the throne too early, and only Walter, who is also grieving for guidance, but mostly alone. HoBW is too young to have been brought to the camp yet, and Logan can barely handle anything happening he's not going to add on to his own plate, so much so that he begins traveling to get away from everything, so they just...never get brought, and he never goes again.

And then when Reaver wants to buy the land the dwellers live on (not even to do anything, he cuts the bridge and builds NOTHING on it), Logan does nothing to stop him, or protect them, already so focused on the darkness and stil unable to shake his grief. Reaver removes them (because hes selfish, because he can't have any reminders of Sparrow) Logan does nothing (because hes scared, because he feels the boy he was is long dead in that cave in Aurora) and HoBW lost the chance to know their family (maybe not by blood, but in all the ways that matter, and they don't even know it).
