Ean Cabel and Hale Garner deserved so much more. Specially Ean. I’ll forever be mad about how we don’t see them interacting in a meaningful way.
I’m not asking for a big thing, I just needed them talking in different occasions. How am I supposed to believe Hale fell in love with Ean if they didn’t talk a lot?
I know the book is about Eadlyn, but, for example:
Marlee fell in love with Carter, we didn’t know it at first, but there were clues. Several clues. And even if we didn’t see them talking, it all made sense when America found out.
What the fuck am I supposed to take for a clue when talking about Hale? That he’s a tailor?
Everything about Ean makes sense, yeah, but we needed more.
