Since you asked for more vintage actors of colour, this is Earl Cameron, a pioneering Bermudan-British actor who was the lead in 1951's "Pool Of London", the first British film to portray an interracial relationship.

He appeared in several more British films with racial themes but did also get to play James Bond's assistant Pinder in "Thunderball".
