now we have prototype paper, aeschylus, dollop, galore, a basic queen worm, and.. crimson’s original look.. and penelope. crimson is very drastically different, obvously, but i ended up fusing her with an older oc for the comic as they already had such similar story themes. i still like early dollop a lot, maybe someday ill try to bring back her stripes for something..

i decided to gather up a bunch of very old FFAK art to share. some ive posted before already, but I thought it’d be fun to look at how the designs of characters has changed. some even are the very first drawings of the characters (like fork/dylan) which i drew while brainstorming ideas in a car.  first is priam, then fork & dylan, then spoon

i kinda ran out of room for these, but early laima, dievas and aldebaran. i think the first drawing of lauma was the page she first showed up on, same with velns.. but these two took longer to show up in the comic. laima obviously has changed the most since her original drawing, but i still really something about the hairstyle.  and of course aldebaran uh ended up very different, he looks so awkward here. LOL i didn’t really have a strong grasp on his personality yet at that point.
