Mayson has a wooden basket with a pink floral liner. He still believes in the Easter Bunny. Hank tries to get things useful for the coming spring and summer seasons along with a few fun things.
This year he got a pink unicorn plushie, bubble in a large pink bottle, silly putty, spray chalk in the color pink (which seems like a fun twist of chalk but Hank will soon regret it) and a rainbow slinky in the way of toys.
For edible treats he got a few ring pops, a kinder joy egg, a plastic egg full of sour patch kids, some hello panda, a few rice krispy treats, a chocolate bunny that is choa choa pebbles flavored, jelly beans, and a peeps lollipop. Hank got the boys the most of candies and treats even though he tries not to.
There is a good balance of toys and edible treats.
There’s also clothing. He got two pairs of pink shorts in different shades, a new shirt that’s blue with daises on it (that’s long sleeved but is still light enough for the spring season). He also got a pair of sandals. The sandals are in fun bright colors (pink, blue and a yellowish gold. Along with some silver and white) He is ready for spring and summer with this outfit,
Hank doesn’t use fake grass in the kids baskets. He’s seen it make messes before. He doesn’t do it anymore. But he does use plastic eggs for fun. Some go in the baskets and of course the bunny hides some as well. This year its all golden eggs!

Cole has a wooden basket with a blue liner with colorful bunnies on it. He is growing out of the belief in the Easter Bunny but still plays into it for Mayson. Hank will get the boys baskets even if they don’t believe. He’ll do it for their entire youth. Hank tries to get things useful for the coming spring and summer seasons along with a few fun things.
For toys he got very similar things to Mayson. He got a large bottle of bubbles in a green bottle, a rainbow slinky, silly putty, a blue fuzzy dragon plush, and spray chalk in purple (and much like Mayson’s, this bottle will also be something Hank will regret.)
For edible treats he got a few ring pops, a kinder joy egg, a plastic egg full of sour patch kids, some hello panda, a few rice krispy treats, a chocolate bunny that is fruity pebbles flavored, jelly beans, and a peeps lollipop. Hank got the boys the most of candies and treats even though he tries not to. Especially for Cole who is diabetic. but also long as Cole enjoys in moderation, it’s all good.
There is a good balance of toys and edible treats.
Lastly there is the clothes. He got a t-shirt that is dark blue with a space theme, he also got two pairs of shorts in pink and black. And a pair of plain brown sandals. Cole isn’t into clothes as much as Mayson, his is more about function than fun or color. But the space shirt is for sute going to be something that he loves.

Here’s what it all looks like:
Lana was told by Sarah, her current care giver (in the loosest sense of the word and only on paper) that the Easter bunny is not real (Along with things like Santa but oddly enough she was still told about the tooth fairy) However, she still gets an Easter basket from Sarah. She knows its from Sarah. Weirdly enough everything she says and does, Sarah does treat Lana to quiet a nice basket full of treats and a few other toys. Mostly it’s clothes which Sarah loves to buy clothes for Lana.
Lana’s basket is rainbow themed with a white fabric base and rainbow handles.
She got a blue peeps plush, hello kitty themed chalk, and a toy camera that blows bubbles (bubble solution includes wow! but sadly it needs batteries which were not included in the package and that Sarah didn’t buy).
Most of the rest of the basket is clothes or candy. She got a cadbury egg, a few Reese’s eggs in both milk and white chocolate, a chocolate covered peeps, a kinder joy egg, marshmallow creme Reese’s, a Reese’s egg full of reese pieces, blue peep bunnies, a few packs of fruit snacks, some rice krispie treats, a few snack bags of cheez its, a small bag of pirate’s booty, and two chocolate bunnies one is white chocolate and the other is milk chocolate. That’s a lot. Sarah has no problem giving Lana junk.
There there is also the clothes. She got a few different outfits. Everything she needs for the coming seasons. She got two t-shirts one is darker blue and the other is lighter blue both with flower designs. She got two shorts one in a light purple and one in a light blue. She got new slip on gray play shoes, brown sandals with a pink stripe, a 10 pack of new socks in various pink and white shades along with navy, two under shirts/tanks, and a 10 pack of new underwear. What Sarah doesn’t give Lana in care or affection she gives her in clothes. Hmm.
There is also purple, blue, pink, and yellow plastic eggs that are filled with treats inside the basket. They aren’t hidden. No egg hunts in this house.
