AUGUST CRAFT NOTES

Greetings! I thought that I’d take a moment to do a wip update & goals for the month of August.

WIP’s:

My oldest wip is the Coziest Memory Blanket. I have added a few squares here and there but not enough to justify a new photo. I am hoping to pick this blanket up in the fall.

I haven’t touched my cross stitch project in months but I would like to finish it this year.

I have a pair of socks in progress.

I also have a ribbed hat in progress

This is the rippled bralette pattern but I plan to knit it longer into more of a tank top.

AUGUST GOALS:

Knit 2 pairs of adult socks

Knit 1 pair of baby socks to donate

Knit 1 ribbed hat

Knit on the bralette or frog it and start a sweater

Craft Notes 1/2/26

Greetings! Wow the end of the year flew by in an absolute blur. How is it the second already? I really dislike it when holidays land in the middle of the week because it feels like a week of Monday’s.

Anyways…

I started a new blanket yesterday. It took me an hour and a half to cast on and knit one row! I am knitting this blanket with a Knit Picks Palette cone in the color Blush. I casted on 351 stitches and I intend to knit a seed stitch border for roughly 2 inches before adding a basket weave pattern.

My goal for this blanket is to just knit 1 row every day. I figure that it will take a few years to finish and I am ok with that.

Yesterday I also casted on a cardigan with some Berroco Remix yarn. I was a little ify about this yarn before I started working with it but now I am in love with the results. I am seriously dreaming up another sweater or two knit in this yarn.

I also have the start of my next sock I am going to love this pair of socks on a cold and grey winters day. I might add some neon pink and lime green just because I can.
