Having gotten up feeling pretty crumby about my weight and self image, I joined the family on a walk at our favorite trail in Washington, MO on the river front. Today I wanted to set out on a bre longer hike than I had been doing. I’ve only been doing 2 miles for awhile now and I wanted to up that. It’s a wetland area on the trail, a large field that’s 1.5 miles in going East on the trail. So I made it there and was happy and proud of myself for making it that far. Problem was the walk back, wanted to up my heart rate to close my exercise ring on my smart watch so managed to do that but man it felt like the temperature just went way up 😂. My mistake was sitting down back by the bridge. NEVER SIT DOWN GUYS. Just keep walking. You sit and it’s that much harder to get up and go again. I got up and went again and sat once more but refused to stop again till I got back to the car. 3.30 miles total from the car to just past the trail marker and back to the car.
