I want a easy plateau Some place to rest my head

I was making dinner one night this week, and listening to this song. I suddenly longed for a person or place in my life to bestow the respite this song describes. Then I realized my mind can be that place. I am creating Sanctuary in my mind by meditation, gratitude, and even by nourishing by body with meals like the one I was cooking. It’s been a rough couple of years, but I am enough. Period.
