I’ve only just started ep 4, but for this absurdly hot day I’ve been sitting in front of the AC watching How to Build a Sex Room and I am really loving this show so much.

My main complaint is that hardly any of the designs are contained to one episode, so if I wasn’t marathoning through it all that aspect of the editing would be annoying, but ugh, there is so much to be said about how much focus there is on meeting each couple’s needs and helping them explore new things.

Such an absolute delight.

Don’t get me wrong - there are some very obvious set up for TV bits that are a bit annoying - like the way just two members of the poly family she designs a room for are part of Melanie Rose’s first meeting about the space, and then they reveal they are in a seven person relationship in the middle of their first conversation with her in the actual space (that... really does not feel like a surprise reveal thing to hold onto until after you have hired a person to design your sex space who came with a full camera crew and you are getting down to design needs), but truly this show is very very cute.
