For those wondering, the creaters have announced that they are no longer continuing with the series anymore. They have it all on their Twitter account (which is still up, but all the other accounts such as Maggie’s and Thornton’s accounts have been deleted...except Nic Higgins one, which is still up, I think). 

It’s very disappointing that they are not continuing with it, but I understand that things happened and that is why they cannot do it anymore. I just hope someone else will start another North and South web series in future. I know I will be eagerly waiting for one to pop up!

I think the best part of having a North and South AU is now I can head-canon that Thornton totally started playing Sk8er Boi by Avril Levigne as he drove back home when Margaret rejects him. Some of the songs Fanny used to listen to on repeat in middle school were catchy OK?

So Richard Armitage playing Mr Thornton has become a running gag on EaWV, but you know who else has played Mr Thornton in the 1975 BBC version of North and South? Could we have Maggie say "Make it so!" at some time in the future? 

(As an aside, am I the only one concerned that Patrick Stewart has apparently not aged in about thirty years?)

finally just watched the newest East&West

Decided to google "robin hood man of gisbourne" because I thought "hey let's see exactly what kind of cutie maggie was talking about" and then BAM Richard Armitage Richard Armitage RICHARD FRIGGING ARMITAGE

I LOVE THIS MAN

That plus the Thorin oakenshield background on maggie's phone...I can't deal with these feelings!
