#Repost @mixedpresent with @repostapp. ・・・ So as you all know, EBONY magazine caught a lot of flack from it's 70th anniversary cover photo. That's because the 3 people on the cover are mixed. Jesse Williams (1/2 white), Harry Belafonte (1/4 white), and Zendaya Coleman (1/2 white). They called it "White washed". Do you feel it's disingenuous to do this? What does this mean for black culture or black people? Should they have put blacks on the cover that more closely resemble EBONY for the 70th anniversary?
