Massively peeved by the fact that I’ve had to rewrite this paragraph on fatal versus non-fatal EBOV cases and biomarkers present in both because people studying them keep taking data at different times, which is leading them to very different conclusions about the role of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines during infection and which soluble mediators are an indicator that a patient is going to survive. It’s fascinating stuff, but I need to turn this in in like, three hours. It’s getting super granular, but I really admire my histology professor and like, desperately want to impress her with this, especially because she’s given me the mother of all extensions on this paper.
