oh cool starbee ship
mind if i [yoinks and puts cephalopods there]
After a few very frustrating session which were all a huge failure. a finally managed to roduce a few good prints.turns out dish soap and CMC don't go well together. Anyway I switched to carageennan and Golden Wetting Agnet and the results were much much better. I even managed a few stones, which is something I struggle with.
Starting with dark paper, which i didn't like and will probably won't make of in the near future
then there were a few misses, one started off strong but ended up with all my paint bottles droping to the bath, ruinin my pattern, and some color and dropping experiments. Honestly I like the tiny stones one, it's now what I wanted but i think it's funky
And finally the Stones/Combed patterns. Since I marble on short grain A3 paper I never have 2 papers to use for end pages for A5, so I descided to start doing duplicates of each pattern I like. I honestly prefer the uniqueness of each paper, but until I have the space and equipment for larger paper, this is what I'm working with. Since I'm more experienced with combed patterns, I gave each one a sister except for one Gel Get which honestly... I don't like. So.
My favourite is still the palm pattern
And finally, the Stones, which I really like, the blue/black ones are already adorning a fic I'm binding (can't wait to be able to share it).
That red one seems to be the favourite for most of the people who see it, my bestie already requested it and expressed an intention to frame it an hang it on their wall 🥹
Acrylic paint on carrageenan water, 10gr/100ml alum, Canson paper A3 130gr
kthxbye
İlk defa yapan birine göre bence çok güzel. Elbette bundan da önemlisi eğlenmem ve yeni şeyler öğrenmiş olmam ✨🤭🌸
The Superb Distorted Paintings by Mikael Takacs
Mikael Takacs, a visionary artist from Stockholm, transforms acrylic paint into striking compositions using pipettes instead of brushes, creating expressive works full of dynamic textures.
His unique technique allows for precise control over details, lending his paintings a remarkable sense of movement and depth that often leads viewers to mistake them for digital art. While marbling techniques like Japan’s “Suminagashi” and the Ottoman Empire’s “Ebru” have influenced fluid art for centuries, Takacs pushes these traditions forward with his modern interpretation.
