Turkey: People’s attorney Ebru Timtik dies on 238th day of hunger strike

On Aug. 27, a member of the People’s Law Office, Ebru Timtik, was martyred in the 238th day of a death fast hunger strike. She was assassinated by imperialism and fascism because she resisted the injustice, exploitation and oppression imposed by President Erdoğan and his Justice and Development Party (AKP) on the strugglers and peoples of Turkey. She fought for the right to a fair trial, which is the main demand of the great Resistance of the Death Fast. She was a fighter for justice, always on the side of the poor, the working class, the people and the youth.
