This shouldn’t surprise me, but there is fanfic of the middle school Latin textbook Ecce Romani.

I thought Cornelia, Gaius, Sextus, and Flavia were just there to teach me Latin vocabulary and sentence structure. But I guess there’s a whole world of possibilities out there.

I took four years of Latin but I’m now learning Japanese which means that while trying to translate something to one of them in my head I’ll end up with some fucked up sentence like

raeda は in fossa だ

This is literally the only bit of latin I remember from middle school.

I got kicked out of latin class because in high school it was only offered as an honors class and my grades werent good enough lol

Did anyone else use ecci romani? i was so into the story.
