Yosemite is best. Like Seriously I haven’t been there since I was eight but it’s still ageless. But honestly though I can’t wait to go back to Tuscon to explore more of Mt. Lemmon. I can just imagine the adventures that a wait.
For now I have the journey that is San Diego Comic-Con. It’s been exciting and fun nerding out on all things Suicide Squad, Fantastic 4, Flash, and more. But I’m not sure if I want to come back next year. That sounds weird to say but there are other things that I want to dedicate more time too. And one of those things is acting and YouTube. This summer I fell in love making YouTube videos. It was a huge relief to share my vegan and minimalist life with the world and I can’t wait to see what opportunities that brings. I also feel like working on my acting chops will help me get more jobs. I took this summer off because I was a little burnt. I needed a break from the rehearsals and non stop singing. I felt like I was getting stale and needed time to remind myself why I chose to do this in the first place.
It was really scary to make that decision because I LOVE THEATER. I can’t see myself not doing it. And I honestly had anxiety the day that I chose not to because I had been doing it for so long. Similar to the reasons behind Jared’s acting hiatus, I felt that I needed to experience life in order to have something to say again. That may be why I took up hip hop and rock climbing as pastimes this summer. It was a reminder to myself that I AM GOOD ENOUGH. That it doesn’t matter how many followers, likes, or Facebook friends I have. As long as I’m doing me, life will be good.
So if you feel like you’re not good enough, I’ll tell you this: YOU ARE. IN FACT YOU ARE AWESOME. Don’t let numbers define you.
