While you're obviously not beating the Chunter allegations, any thoughts on fellow Mormon boy otter from a small desert town, Sydney Bronson?
I mean, with a change of clothes, i could try and get myself some Syd allegations.
I do find the whole "being mormon from a small town" thing a fun crossover, but me and Syd had very different raisings. We're pretty different, including not being possessed by an evil spirit, too which I do not count Solzyn as a possession similar to Sam/the spirit lmao.
HOWEVER, I fucking LOVE the fandom interpretations of Syd! I love how people personify him as this big, wrestling-loving tough guy with a big of bad-boy attitude. There are so many fun arts of older Syd and I tend to enjoy what seems to be generally agreed upon as how an older Syd would act. Including the grown-up-mormon Syd.
Overall, in-canon, his situation is very tragic, of course. But so be the problem of being in Echo. Being raised in a heavily religious, abusive family has had it's own deleterious effects on many a rural kid, but add in the echo-isms and spirit-possession and of course it's a sad time for all involved.
But overall, I love what the fandom has interpreted into his character. I mainly say that cause there's only so much personification of him as a young adult, and even then, what can we fairly believe to be "his behaviors" since there's all the echo stuff going on? But yeah, I like him.
L'Enfant Terrible, Echo fanfic cover art fanart Mirror possessed Chase is by far the most interesting version of Chase imo. Also, seems like this is the only wholesome Chase/TJ fic on AO3. Go read if you interested in that.
Survival Horror Women Protags are my favorite gender type.
which echo route is canon in the otterneerverse?
Hmm, an interesting question. Please let me know if I missed something in my diatribe here, I'm not omniscient about Echo.
Call me sappy, but while I enjoy the events of the other routes, especially TJ's (biased cause it was my first route but it's the one that deals with Sydney's death most directly with the least demon/crazy bear shenanigans), I would like to think that Jenna's "Good" ending where everyone gets away alive is the canon one. Mainly cause I wanna be upbeat about their fates and I'm glad they all FINALLY got out. TBF, Jenna's Good Ending was the last route of Echo I did, so it really did feel like finally getting the good ending everything else built towards.
SPECIAL REQUEST!
Now that you got me thinking about Echo, I want you guys to help inspire me! Send me a frame or scene description from anywhere in Echo and I'll pick my favorite to recreate in Blender! Kinda like when I did this one. I don't promise to have any of the characters in the since my artstyle doesn't include making any character at any random moment, but I'd love to try my hand at background recreation again! DM your idea, comment or reblog, or send an ask, and I'll pick my favorite to recreate!
WIP Fanart of the cover of L'Enfant Terrible , Echo FVN fanfic on AO3 Might start making a series of either comics (if I want to challenge myself) or illustrations. Hopefully we get update for this and Problem child this year.
yknow... im smart and can draw a connection thru all the games i enjoy, They all relate to suffering and i dunno what that says about me( i do know tho ) but... who knows maybbbe i want to save them from their descent into pain and maybe i can do something for them???
