Jac makes a motion of 'no way' as he tries to mime, with difficulty, about him not approaching without his gear unless the still screaming geiger counter calmed down.

As Jac mimes out his response the radio beeps as Nicholas calls in, “Nicholas calling Jac, over… Nicholas calling Jac, Echo has been contained, found him unconscious in the river, a miracle that he didn’t drown, awaiting pickup, over.”

After awhile Nicholas called again, “Nicholas to Jac I’m not fully sure how the sedative will last so hurry on over to rendezvous for pickup will call back in about 10 minutes over.”

Jac looks frustrated having a bit of a tantrum about being delayed.

Leilani@Echo: "Alola!! Hey, I noticed you glow in the dark! So do my kind when we're underwater! Or at least, the Brionne and Primarina do. It's really pretty to see!" The young seal grins at the Nucleon. "You look pretty amazing when you glow too! Does it do anything, though?"

Echo looked at Leilani perplexed, “I’ve never seen anyone like you before. What’s a Brionne and Primarina? They glow also? My mom had talked about the, uh… sea before but I’ve never left the forest, well at least not until recently I still have no idea where I am… Nicholas said that my glow is rahdeeshun or something and it’s dangerous but it can’t be dangerous. I mean it’s not been dangerous to me so it shouldn’t be can it? Though I’m not sure what it can do exactly I can’t exactly control how much I glow, some days I don’t glow others I’m as bright as the day. Excitement and time seems to make me glow brighter while one of my abilities seems to make me dimmer, but I don’t know life’s just gotten more difficult without mom…”

A flash

With a flash Echo shines a bright white as a massive pulse of gamma ray energy bursts forth in all directions bathing everything in intense radiation, lethal amounts in close proximity. After the pulse passed Echo lay still his glow near enough non-existent, the water gurgling by him as it flowed to sea no longer hissing and bubbling.

Elsewhere Nicholas was still scanning around for Echo when he detected a large burst of radiation coming from Echo’s direction. Relaying to Jac about what happened he picks up the pace having found Echo’s trail again

April@Echo: Your job doesn't sound too fun, guys. How did you guys even wind up in this mess in the first place? Wrong place at the wrong time, maybe?

Echo slowed down once he put some distance away from the carrier. “Ok, I think I should be--.” He trails off before his eyes go wide with fear while scrambling backwards and glowing brightly, as he notices the new arrival talking to him, “J-j-job? w-wh-what’s that? I-I j-just want t-to get home and away from N-Nicholas. H-He w-wants t-to take me away from my home.”
