OH MY GOD!!! My pookie (iykyk) signed the Handsome Squidjack canvas (art by @rhysespuff), and the art I commissioned from @mong-mongi for my future printed fic! I hope I can someday get that signed by Dameon too, y'know, once I print it!

I was also going to get the iconic meme from @phenikas but sadly... I forgot it and left. Might have to go back to get it. I'll keep you posted!

People who have been in fandoms for a while hating on people who join recently are so weird to me. You don't have to be personally offended by everything someone gets wrong about your favorite media. They're still learning, and at one point you were just like them.

And if the fanbase of your media is changing because of new people joining, it doesn't mean you have to radically change everything about how you interact with that media. It just means that some people are going to have different opinions than you do, and contrary to certain beliefs, that's not a crime.

I just hate seeing people trying to enjoy this new thing they've found and then encountering a bunch of shit about how "new people ruin everything" and how they're "not real fans" just because they haven't seen some obscure piece of media or they don't know the full story yet. And this is NOT for any fandom in particular, it's for ALL of them. Every fandom I've ever joined or just even come across has this split between the older members and the newer members and it's. It's fucking weird, man. Just let people enjoy things.
