I have multiple AUs where my s/i is a wolf or is wolf themed, with I myself being a wolf therian :3 specifically, black wolf
in a 'normal' furry universe, I have bj as a panther- there's a lot of reasons, and I love it bc I associate this au specifically with the song 'Night Eyes' by The Orion Experience
BUT there is another, secret au- the Beastars AU! In it, I'm still a wolf, but BJ is a hare! i really like the idea of people assuming he's some poor rabbit who was mauled, and then he turns to look you in the eyes and you get taken aback. Also a big fan of what SHOULD be a nervous prey animal being the one the big predators have to kneel to, can't intimidate, etc.
(bj SHOULD be a japanese hare, but honestly they just aren't as cool looking as the african hare úwù)
oh lord. Attempting to make her 'better' is met with extreme resistance, but we've gotten to where she won't randomly kill people for petty slights, so i think it's working. kind of. or at least, she won't kill people for petty slights while I'm watching, which is more likely tbh.
I really don't think i can make her worse. Her introductory scene is her lounging on a couch, surrounded by bodies and eating a man's arm. She got hit with a nuke and all it did was 'calm her down' a bit. There's not much further down to go from there
Honestly, i'm trying to make her better less for her sake and more for the good of the rest of humanity, lol. Love her, but good lord it's hard planning a date with her when going to a restaurant puts people at severe risk

And we're both more cozy people than "fancy dates" people. Both of us grew up without those types of experiences (i still think of Texas roadhouse as a fancy restaurant and so far I haven't been proven wrong) so we definitely prefer low key dates

👯 What similarities are there between your f/o and your s/i? How do they feel about those similarities?
For Pennywise and Arys, they’re both beings from the Todash Space! They’re also both carnivorous and higher on the food chain than humans, though Arys is lower on the food chain than Pennywise. These similarities are what lead them to seek each other out and form a bond.
💭 What scenario do you return to when you think about this selfship? How does it make you feel?
For William and Avery (my S/I), a scenario I frequently return to is Avery recovering William’s body after he’s springlocked. In canon of course, he’s trapped for 30 years in a hidden room before being recovered by the Fazbear Frights crew. But in my selfship AU, he’s only trapped for a year or two. Avery is already fully immersed in William’s world of horror and murder by this point, and they look for him when he suddenly disappears out of the blue. Eventually, they find the hidden room holding his body, drag him out, and hide him in their own home. It’s a reunion scene that’s as sweet as it is horrific, and I quite like the blend of the two :3
📅 When you first saw their source material, did you know you wanted to explore this dynamic with them? Has your selfship dynamic changed since you first started shipping with them?
For Pennywise, my selfship dynamic has changed a LOT since I first saw It 2017 lol. I was afraid something was wrong with me for liking such a horrible nasty murderous character, and I think I tried to assuage my worries by imagining a selfship that was sweet and toothless. Nowadays, I know there’s nothing wrong with me (not like that at least lol), and I’m much more comfortable exploring darker topics and dynamics! Plus I feel like a sweet cutesy selfship just doesn’t match the character of Pennywise, and I hate mischaracterizing my faves :P

For both Pennywise and William, they’re massively fucking possessive. If anyone’s gonna hurt my S/Is, it’s gonna be them and only them.

3. was there any specific point / any specific moment that suddenly made this character your Blorbo, or did you slowly grow to love them more and more until they became a Blorbo to you?
Henry: So Henry's thing is kinda long, but basically I watched his source as a kid when the show first came out, but wasn't way attached to him or the show, as it was just something my dad had on in the background during my summer breaks. Then September 2021 I ended up watching the show again with my mom, and I had just barely started an official selfship blog at that point, so he did become an f/o then, just more of a secondary one. Then, beginning of 2023, I decide to actually finish the show, and I saw him in the episode and it was like everything changed. He had stayed on my f/o list throughout the past couple of years, but it wasn't until then that I realized how much I loved him. And the specific scene I remember was where Henry's ass was on screen??? And I thought it was amusing and now here we are
Brasidas: His first scene in ac odyssey was the Moment for me. The entrance, the dramatic flair, the battle skills, all of it was incredible and I was immediately swept off my feet
Emmerich: I think I saw a clip of him on tik tok, went "oh okay I need that old man carnally" and bought the game. I can't even remember what the clip was tbh
John: It took me about a season of the show before I finally admitted he was an f/o, it was definitely a slow burn/build up
Robby: My newest f/o I think!! It took me a couple episodes, but I was immediately charmed by him, I just needed to get to know him a bit better
Rumple: Years. It took me years. I thought he was creepy as a kid but now I think he's great
Sandor: It took me a while to warm up to Sandor, I had to read a few fics before I decided to add him to my collection. But now he's the one f/o who has an actually (somewhat) fleshed out self insert paired with him
Viktor: He was immediately became one of my favorite characters from cyberpunk, but I didn't really view him in a romantic sense until after my first full playthrough

I cant say a lot has changed, unless you count my si basically aging a whole 10 years XD

Cactus (fact in an AU): idk if it counts as an AU, but in-universe, she's the one who helped my OC Doria design her costume, which is why it has mismatched tights! She's also one of Doria's closest friends, sticking up for them when people call them a traitor + can see when they're about to fly into a rage and try to talk em down.
Flower (headcanon): she can't cook, but she's a FANTASTIC baker. Her pies are to die for, and for the most part any pie she and the joker use in a gag is homemade
I’m so sorry that person is harassing you about your selfships?? As long as you tag your content it’s not their business about who you choose to selfship with. Plenty of people selfship with villains and arguments about ‘who is worse’ or ‘who is more triggering’ or ‘who can be rehabilitated’ are always going to be relative and more about personal bias
You’re not a bad person and you’re not encouraging or defending real world harm by shipping with a character who’s done bad things
I grew up with this discourse in my damn elementary class and I’ve not gotten any less tired of it since it was about The Hunger Games -_-
