I want to be the Sun,
But to the moon,
Back again I wander.

Sun signs, Moon Signs.
-
I want to be the Sun,
But to the moon,
Back again I wander.
I feel...
Corrosive.
Everything turns to brown red copper
Decayed
Devastated
Destroyed
Don't touch what isn't yours too keep
The future isn't for you.
Why can't I be good enough for you?
Every step forward ends with needles in my back
Every word is charcoal and smoke and ash
Every touch left with a fear of abandonment and hesitation
Every day, an ache in my heart of hearts
Wanting to sleep for eternity
Wanting more but doing less
Why can't I be good enough for myself?
Do you really think I’d miss you?
After what you did?
After what you’ve done?
Go!
Bleach your bones under the judegeful sun.
You left me for dead.
My life with you shouldve been done,
But here we are again, in a cycle that
never started and is never done.
Smoke Dream
I had dreamt of you, once upon a time
You were the brightest, you were my star
Held you once...I was yours, and you were mine
We danced together, one song and one rhyme
Painted the skies from the old noir
I had dreamt of you, once upon a time
Traveling round and round in the space-time
my wounded eyes, oh how they will scar
Held you once...I was yours, and you were mine
Jealousy broke us apart apart one day. I’m
Sorry we never really got far
I had dreamt of you, once upon a time
Alas, a black star slaughtered you, what a crime
Now here I sit at this lone sandbar
Held you once...I was yours, and you were mine
Nothing left, no scent of honey and thyme
So now I'm left to say au revoir
I had dreamt of you, once upon a time
Held you once...I was yours, and you were mine
(Another poem, but this one is a villanelle of my characters Tenebris and Omis.)
Oh
Joy at last
I can finally ready my weary head
I hope that no one will need
Me, for now I shall sleep like the dead.
Choose-Your-Own-Story
An adventure is in the works right now
Maybe not a this very second, but
It is there, lingering in the background
Harbouring your mind in summer daydreams
Oh what, oh where will your mind take you this time?
A protagonist in your own story
Go slay the dragon of your anxieties!
Go and save the world one step at a time
We can all be heroes or we can all be villains
Of our stories, of our journeys
Don't let the fear of the unknown taint your hope!
You are the master, the maker of your own fate.
Oh
What is in the great, wide, wondrous sky?
Stretching and stretching out of sight.
A continuous expanse.
Shifting paintstrokes of orange, yellows,blue.
But the skies do not care for you.
Oh
What mysteries are hidden in the void?
A vastness,a darkness.
Silent black holes, snapping their jaws for everything.
But lit so faintly, by fragile burning stars.
Shining so brightly with vanity and hues.
But the stars do not care for you.
Oh
What else is being harbored, in this galaxy alone?
Giants of gas, holding court with moons in the hundreds.
Exiled steaks of ice sitting the gloom in two.
A lone blue marble, compared to this, in the span of it all.
It all means nothing to it all.
Home and life for many, things colliding to make something new...
But the galaxy does not care for you.
